Life Insurance
As part of your total compensation, OU provides Sooner Credits to purchase life insurance. Additional life insurance is available for you to purchase through the supplemental plan to meet your insurance needs.
OU offers Dependent Life Insurance for your spouse. It is available to purchase with after-tax dollars at one-half the amount you purchased for yourself up to $350,000. Evidence of insurability is required for coverage over $100,000 or 2.25 times your annual salary.
There is also Dependent Life Insurance for your eligible dependent children in a $5,000 or $10,000 option. The premiums are the same regardless of the number of children you cover.
