University 401(a) Retirement Plans

The university offers two retirement plan tracks and asks you to choose the one that is right for you.

  • Track A includes:
    • The Defined Contribution Plan (DCP)
    • The Oklahoma Teachers' Retirement System (OTRS)
  • Track B includes:
    • Salaried Employees: The Optional Retirement Plan (ORP)
      OR
    • Hourly Employees: The Defined Contribution Plan (DCP)

In addition to the Track A or Track B options, you may also choose a voluntary retirement plan.

Voluntary Retirement Plans

In its continuing efforts to provide retirement savings opportunities, the University offers two voluntary retirement savings plans. Employees make tax-deferred contributions to these plans. These plans can be chosen and changed at anytime.

  • 403 (b)
  • 457 (b)
