Description: The University of Oklahoma Retirement Package is designed to build a solid foundation for the future. The decisions you make about your retirement are some of the most important decisions you will ever make. The current retirement package is comprised of several programs including: The University’s Defined Contribution Plan, Optional Retirement Plan, Oklahoma Law Enforcement Retirement Plan, Oklahoma Teachers’ Retirement, Social Security, University Retiree Benefits and voluntary retirement savings plan. Each of these components will provide separate benefits under the university’s plan. The rules and requirements of each component are different. Please take the time to review this information and develop an understanding of what your retirement benefits mean for you.
