Temporary employment

Temporary employment beyond 90 days requires the approval of the department head and review by Human Resources Employment.

Temporary employees cannot be extended beyond six months.

A temporary employee terminated because they have reached the maximum service period cannot be re-employed as a temporary employee until a 30 day break in service has been completed.

Any exception to these policies requires Human Resources review and approval by the President or his designee.
