Required training at the University of Oklahoma should be completed as described below.

Standards of Conduct Review and Compliance	Online Certification: www.ouhsc.edu/compliance/standards.asp All new full-time employees Read and certify compliance with Standards of Conduct Complete within first 60 days of employment
Annual Safety Training: OUHSC/ OU-Tulsa	Online Training https://www.ouhsc.edu/ehso/training/new_logon.asp All employees must complete annually. Categories of training needed are determined by the job duties. Annual Safety Training: Norman	Online Training https://www.ouhsc.edu/ehso/training-norman/new_logon.asp All employees must complete annually who: use chemicals or chemicals are present in the workplace work with human blood, human cell lines, or other potentially infectious materials work in a laboratory Employees who work in a "shop environment" (electrical, carpenter, plumbing shops, etc.) should check with their supervisor to determine their safety training requirement. HIPAA Privacy Training	HIPAA Online Training:http://www.ouhsc.edu/hipaa All workforce members (employees, students, and volunteers) at the locations listed below must take HIPAA Privacy and Security training within 30 days of employment, enrollment, or appointment. Volunteers are required to take HIPAA Privacy and Security training if they will be volunteering for four days or more, regardless of whether the days are consecutive. Departments are strongly encouraged to provide HIPAA training to volunteers who will provide services for fewer than four days. The HIPAA Privacy and Security Training must each be completed annually by all the workforce members employed, enrolled, or appointed at the locations below. Electronic reminders will be generated for OUHSC employees. Foundations In Management (FIM): Norman	Within the first six months a newly hired, reclassified, or transferred supervisor, managerial, or administrative staff who is responsible for supervising one or more employees, is obligated to complete the FIM training program. FIM is a thirty-two hour management training program that currently meets one day per week over a four week period during the months of February, June, and October. Classes include: leadership, OU policies and procedures, and employment law components. Classes are interactive and include audiovisual, simulation, and case study designs. Reg. 63717 (November 9, 2007) published Red Flag regulations which require each financial institution or creditor that offers or maintains one or more covered accounts to develop and implement a "written Identify Theft prevention program" designed to detect, prevent and mitigate identify theft in connection with the opening of a covered account or any existing covered account.
