B1. Taleo Requiements

What is required from Taleo is dependent on whether the position will be posted or not.

If the position is to be posted:

If the appointment is Seasonal, or if it was decided to list the position in Taleo:

Posting the Job:

  • A guide on how to get a requisition approved and posted can be found here.
  • A PA 1 is not needed, but a position number will be.
  • The salary range of the listing position will need to be advertised within the range of the job code assigned.

Conducting Interviews:

  • At least 3 interviews of qualified candidates will need to be conducted.

Making an Offer:

  • A guide on how to make an offer can be found here.
  • When an offer is made, please use the Temporary Offer Letter Template.
  • Note: the offer will need to be an amount that is within the salary grade of the job code.

If the position is not to be posted in Taleo:

  • The applicant will require a Taleo Profile. A guide for this can be found here.
  • When an offer is made, please use the Temporary Offer Letter Template.
  • Note: the offer will need to be in amount that is within the salary grade of the job code.
